About the Speaker

Kerry's quest is to bring deep and authentic gratitude into people's lives and the workplace. For 25 years she has been researching, teaching and practising gratitude. She has discovered that no matter what the context, or culture, gratitude has the power to help us recognise the worth and value of others which, in turn, helps them to see these qualities in themselves.

Dr. Howells is a Senior lecturer, Curriculum and Pedagogy at the University of Tasmania and has an extensive background as a presenter at many universities and schools in Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. In recognition of the national and international impact of her research on gratitude Kerry was awarded the Faculty of Education Research Award in 2014.
