The Flow conference organizing committee is pleased to announce that we will be able to offer a limited number of travel stipends to assist with travel to the conference. We will be offering approximately 10 stipends of $200 each. Priority for travel stipends will be given to the following groups (in this order):

1. Graduate students
2. Non-profit organization representatives
3. Non-traditional academics
4. International scholars
5. Full-time faculty

Interested parties should send an e-mail requesting assistance and demonstrating financial need to flowconference@utlists.utexas.edu. Please type “Request for Travel Assistance” in the Subject line of the e-mail.

Please send your requests by August 20, 2006. Decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis based on financial need and the status of the applicant. In the event of a large number of requests by graduate students, the conference organizing committee will employ a lottery system to determine recipients. Final decisions will be made by August 31, 2006.
